Cheryl and I joined Send Out Cards (SOC) in July of 2009  We attended a Civitan International Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada and happened to stop by a vendor table for SOC.  Cheryl sat down and made a card and sent it home.  It was such an easy and neat system to use I had to set us up.  I have always been a card collector.  I have saved probably every card I have been given by my Wife and our kids since we have been married.  I keep them in boxes and every once in a while I pull them down and browse through them. 
 
I know everyone is being conscious about the environment and like sending e-cards, but I feel when you get a card you can hold in your hands from a friend or family it gives you a different feeling.  It is more of a personal touch.  You know the person took the time to pick it out, print some nice words in it and mailed it just for you. 
 
There have been a lot of changes since we joined.  Now there are bigger and better cards and you can send a video by adding a QR code to your card.  The person you sent it too can use their cell phone to see the video.  Technology has come a long way.  It seems like only yesterday I was putting my pong game away.
 
 

Send Out Cards is a wonderful way to send greeting cards, tri-fold cards, post cards, large 8 1/2 x 11 and now video cards.

You pick from over 35,000 cards, add your own photo or video QR code, type out a salutation and an address and we print, place it in an envelope, address it and send it for you when you want it sent.  Add a gift for a small fee, the price of a gift card of your choice and postage, we box it and send it for you.  Late thought gift and card, log on and pick it, salutate, address it and we do the rest.  You do not have to leave the computer or the comfort of your home, office or hotel when out of town.
 
You can even schedule your cards to be sent out all through the year, at the begining of the year, by simply telling us what card you want sent and when you want it sent using contact manager.  Pick out the person you want to send to, pick out a card, write a nice note or attach a video, when you click to send it will ask you when you want it sent.  We will send it on the date you tell us. 
 
Want to send out multiple cards on holidays?  Put all your friends and family in a campaign.  You will pick out the card, add your salutation, add people from your contact manager, pick the date you want it sent and we do the rest.
 
Will your favorite grocery store or specialty store do this for the price of the card? Will the post office? 
 
You do all this by just logging on, typing and clicking from the comfort of your home, office or hotel, when out of town.  Sit back and hear the great comments from your friends and family on how you were so kind to think of them on their special occassion or just when you thought of them.

Here is how easy it is:
 
    • Enter your ID
    • Enter your password
    • Pick out a person from your contacts manager
    • Pick out a card
    • Add a picture or add a video code
    • Add a salutation
      • You can even use your own personal handwriting font we can set up for you for an additional initial cost.
    • Address it.
    • Add a gift card or gift, if you would like, we have many of them you can choose from to include cookies, books, office items, stuffed animals and many more.
    • Click Send it. 
    • We take over from here.
    • We will print it on very high quality paper with a nice glossy, environmental friendly, finish.
    • We put it in a nice envelope.
    • Address it.
    • Stamp it .
    • Off to the post office it goes.
    • If you added a gift, the card will be packaged with the gift, or the gift card will be placed in the card, so the person receives them both at the same time.

    • You will enter the SOC site and start a walkthrough with Kody Bateman, CEO and Founder of SOC, if you do not want to do the walkthrough click out of it.
  • Follow along with Kody or
  • Pick a card category from the left hand side.
  • Choose a card, either created or create your own, click on the card to choose it.
  •  Enter a salutation or just add your name to it.
  • Click Continue
  • Enter the addresses on the card.
  • Click continue
  • You will see three choices of sending a gift, gift card or just send card.  With a gift account you will not be able to send a gift.
  • Click No thanks just send card or continue without gift at right bottom.
  • Next you will see a screen asking for some additional information, if you want to provide it, a user name and password for your future visits.  You can use the suggested username or pick your own.  Pick something you will remember.
  • After this click continue and your card will be in our hands.
